There are times when I’m either too lazy to cook or sick of my own cooking that I do take away. The taste of the food, the packaging, the cart, I really want to draw it all. Alas my ability is drawing animal kingdom. I’m not good at drawing food and/or the landscape.
In the past, I tried to save money to go to cafe. I would buy tea and either pastry or cake. Both are easier to draw (technically speaking) but somehow the result is unsatisfactory to say the least. I somewhat gave up because it make me disappointed more than making me happy. At least if I draw ugly dog or fish I can point and laugh. The taste of dessert is bland after I saw my drawing.
